New game for smartphones took the world

The newest game for smartphones called "Pokemon Go" was first released in the US. The game rapidly expanded accross Europe as well.

What is the game about?

It works with GPS and displays the streets where there are players. When the players pick up their phones, on the screens appear smaller virtual creatures with special powers.

Then the hunt for pokemons begins.

The more people play at the same place at the same time, the more pokemons will the game "produce".

The game created contradictory reviews in some countries

The president of the Turkish Trade Union of Imams Diyanet -Sen Mehmet Bayraktar - offered the game to be banned in the country. He pointed out that the game undermines respect for holy places for Muslims, as players try to catch pokemons in a variety of public places, including mosques. "It undermines the significance of the mosques. I want this game to be banned in Turkey," said Bayraktar.

The Turkish Ministry of Health issued a warning: the interactive game should not be played between 11 am and 16 pm., because then the sun is very strong during that time of the day. The Ministry advises people not to look at the displays of their mobile devices while crossing the streets, because there is risk of being hit by a car when doing so.
